Description:

The Student Involvement and Leadership (STIL) Graphic Designer works closely with the STIL Marketing team and advisor to advertise for SUUSA, Student Programming Board, student clubs and school-wide events. The graphic designer is responsible for all assigned projects, including digital signage and social media designs and graphics. The designer is in charge of sending publications and correspondence to the STIL advisor and other designee for approval within designated deadlines.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position student must:

  • Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have knowledge of printing procedures, both small and large format.
  • Demonstrate experience in administrative work such as email and client correspondence, filing and recording financial purchases and transactions.
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines as well as manage last minute projects effectively and efficiently.
  • All applicants must provide a portfolio of graphic design work, mock design and a resume.

  • Get creative and design a graphic using the event prompt below.
  • Email this design to Susan Hunter by the application deadline.

Event prompt: Casino Night, Friday, March 13th from 7-11:00pm, Free to all SUU students. Located in the SUU Ballroom with prizes that include an Apple watch, TVs and microwaves. Students must pick up their tickets at the Student Involvement and Leadership Office (STIL) ST 177 before the event.

Applicants who correspond in a timely manner, exhibit design proficiency and have good organizational skills are given highest priority.
